Combined with tailoring facilities which monitor and measure the resource needs of source machines to provision the target machine, this release allows scalable deployment of machines to Azure.

It has already seen uptake by global MSPs as well as large organizations requiring machine mobility. The added support for Microsoft Azure is a step in the company’s mission to offer cross platform migrations to and from all the major cloud providers as well as physical, virtual and private cloud environments.

This release is an important milestone being the first CloneManager version to offer support for true public cloud,” said Ian Cameron, Cristie’s CEO. “Later this quarter we will be adding support for Amazon’s AWS and IBM’s SoftLayer with support for further cloud platforms by year end. Many organizations require the flexibility to easily move running machines between on-prem and off-prem computer resources and our platform-agnostic approach means we support the leading cloud platforms.

The advantages of previous versions of CloneManager continue in this release including file-based replication rather than image, CloneSync feature to synchronize a previously cloned machine with its source machine and the ability to perform agentless migrations with no software being installed on the source machine.
