Blanco Updates Data Erasure Solution for Mobile Devices

Smartphones already outsell desktops by more than 5 to 1, and
smartphone and tablet sales are expected to represent 95% of the
entire phone and personal computer market by 2016.

In the face of this growth, Blancco 
Oy. Ltd. is equipping its mobile data
erasure solution for mobile devices with feature to give
organizations an additional choice for managing mobile data security.

It includes a rapid factory resetting option in addition
to full data erasure, a solution for mobile processing. The solution
works for Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Nokia Symbian
devices.

that chances of a device reaching the secondhand market with
sensitive business or personal data are minimized," said

The ‘Reset and Report’ feature generates a report after resetting,
confirming that the process was completed. The feature is compatible
with the Blancco management console, which receives the reset or
erasure reports.
