Yves Lecomte in Charge of French Market, NetJapan

NetJapan Ltd announces a new partnership with French backup and storage specialist Yves Lecomte of Sofrad Sas who brings more than 25 years of channel experience.

This agreement is another testament to NetJapan’s European expansion with a focus on building relationships with distributors and local industry experts.

Dominik Zingg, GM of NetJapan EMEA, welcomes the opportunity to work alongside the established leader: “Mr. Lecomte has been in the storage business for years and his acumen and insight have earned him the trust of resellers and service providers alike. We are extremely excited that he has chosen to join the NetJapan family and help us bring superior DR to this key European market.”

In 2007, Lecomte developed a private backup and replication system called IDSbox, later introducing its cloud version IDSCloud. He sees working with the channel as the best approach to establish NetJapan in France and stresses the importance of forging relationships with resellers.

NetJapan sees potential in the French market, especially for virtualised environments. Naming Veeam Software, Inc. as its biggest competitor in this segment, the company is confident that its own ActiveImage Protector for Hyper-V and vmGuardian for VMware will make a great impression on French resellers.
