Yael Zheng CMO, Tintri

Tintri Inc. announced the appointment of Yael Zheng as CMO.

 She will oversee global marketing at Tintri and report to chairman and CEO, Ken Klein.

Over her long marketing and engineering career, Zheng has helped propel companies to market leadership. As VP marketing at VMware, she led the corporate and worldwide marketing teams and drove key initiatives that supported the company’s growth. Prior to VMware, she held numerous senior management positions at Sun Microsystems, including leading the marketing team for the service provider business unit. She has also provided strategic marketing consulting to a number of the industry’s growing companies including Cloudera and Medallia.

Zheng holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
