X-IO Appoints Five Executives

Mark Zeller VP North American sales, Bill Alexander CFO, Steve Ashurst GM EMEA, John Grover VP human resources, Ellen Rome VP field enablement and demand generation

X-IO Technologies (Xiotech Corporation) has appointed five new members to its executive team, including:

Mark Zeller as VP, North American Sales. He will leverage his industry expertise of the end-user and channel communities to underpin X-IO’s rapid growth in virtualised environments.
 

Other appointments:

  • Bill Alexander joins as CFO
  • Steve Ashurst, joins as GM EMEA
  • John Grover, joins as VP human resources
  • Ellen Rome, joins as VP of field enablement and demand generation

x-io lauffinX-IO also recruited Diamond Lauffin of The Lauffin Group, previously co-founder and sales EVP of Nexsan, as chief of channel strategy and execution, and executive VP sales/product positioning at Qualstar. He will work with executive team to drive its commitment to its channel program and the success of its channel partners.

x-io zellerMark Zeller has over 31 years of experience in technology industry sales and marketing, 19 years of which were in a number of key roles at EMC including regional VP, US West. With an experience in technology sales roles, he will leverage his expertise to build and develop sales team and channel and accelerate growth across North America.

 

X-IO alexanderBill Alexander, previously served at Configuresoft, Inc., acquired by EMC in where, as CFO he was a key member of an executive team who grew the company through several rounds of venture capital funding and successful exit.

 

 

X-IO Ashurst, SteveSteve Ashurst has over 17 years experience in the storage industry and joined X-IO from his previous role as business development manager at Sepaton. He brings an experience including rapid business growth and European start-ups to the X-IO EMEA team. He will be key in the continued development of partnerships.
 

 

X-IO GroverJohn Grover is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of success developing and leading high performing organisations and teams. He specialises in entrepreneurial start-up, turn-around, and privately-held companies in hyper-competitive environments where speed, innovation, and the ability to outsmart larger competitors are essential.

 

 
X-IO RomeEllen Rome, previously VP, strategic alliances and business development STORServer, has over 30 years of experience in leading sales and marketing teams in channel development and lead generation.
