Wim De Wispelaere VP Advanced Solutions Engineering, HGST

Following the acquisition of Amplidata by WD, Amplidata’s CEO, CTO and founder Wim De Wispelaere has been named two months ago VP advanced solutions engineering of WD’s subsidiary HGST, in charge of developing total customer solutions based on the HGST Elastic Storage Platform that runs our Amplidata technology.

Before working for seven years at Amplidata, he was director product management NetBackup at Symantec from 2005 to 2008 and product manager at DataCenter Technologies from 2001 to 2005.

He earned a Master, Engineering, Micro Electronics, from Ghent University.
