Dave Spenhoff VP Marketing, Infochimps

Big data cloud services provider Infochimps, Inc. welcomed Burke Kaltenberger on board as VP of WW sales, and Dave Spenhoff as VP of marketing.

In their new positions, Kaltenberger and Spenhoff will help Infochimps fulfill its mission of bringing the benefits of enterprise-proven big data cloud services to address mission-critical business problems.

 Spenhoff helped establish Sun in enterprise and Internet computing, leading the product marketing efforts that positioned Solaris and Java as enterprise platforms. Then, at Veritas, he helped position a storage management solution that redefined its category, enabling sales growth. Recently he has helped emerging companies, including Inxight and MarkLogic, define and launch go-to-market strategies and has provided strategic marketing guidance to a number of technology companies.

Kaltenberger‘s career as a leader in software and technology companies spans more than 13 years. A veteran of big data, he most recently served as VP of Western Region Sales for MapR, where he led direct sales of big data solutions to Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to this role he led direct sales for the west at ParAccel and channel sales for the North/South American regions at Syncsort. Before his career with technology companies, Kaltheenberger spent ten years as an officer and aviator in the U.S. Navy.
