Rick Walsh VP Sales and Marketing, Storage Emulation Division, SANBlaze

SANBlaze Technology, Inc. announced the promotion of Rick Walsh to VP of sales and marketing for the storage emulation division.

He started at SANBlaze in 2015 as the Western regional sales director, running major accounts.

Rick’s promotion to VP of the storage emulation division reflects our confidence that he will continue to excel in solidifying our leadership position in the FC and storage emulation market while we expand our capabilities into FC-NVMe, RDMA and 25/50/100G network markets. Rick will continue to promote SANBlaze products in our traditional markets and ensure the company takes a leadership role as storage transitions to the network via NVMe over fabric, iSER and RoCE,” stated Vince Asbridge, president, SANBlaze.

Walsh joined SANBlaze after a 14-year career at Teledyne LeCroy, beginning as a regional sales manager. After multiple promotions, he was the director of business development for five years. During his tenure he consistently achieved the Presidents Circle award.

He has a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University of San Jose State.
