Peter Murray Member of SNIA Technical Council

He is product evangelist and senior systems engineer, Load DynamiX.

Load DynamiX, Inc., in storage infrastructure performance validation, announced that Peter Murray, the company’s product evangelist for workload modeling and performance validation, has been appointed to the Technical Council of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) effective immediately for the 2015 term.

SNIA is a not-for-profit organization responsible for storage solution specifications, technologies, standards, and education for all IT professionals. It is comprised of some 400 member companies spanning the global storage market. It connects the IT industry with end-to-end storage and information management solutions.

Murray is also the interim co-chair of the SNIA technical working group on Solid State Storage System Performance Measurement.

With the appointment to the Technical Council, he will work with the other Technical Council members to guide the direction of storage networking technical work, and assist the storage industry in developing and promoting global standards.

He has been with Load DynamiX in for nearly six years in both product management and system engineering roles focused on meeting the needs of both storage technology vendors and enterprise IT organizations. Previously he held technical marketing positions with F5, Spirent Communications, Nortel Networks, Bay Networks and SynOptics Communications.
