Owen Taraniuk, Theatre VP AsiaPac and and Japan, Commvault

Commvault Systems, Inc. recently hired a new VP of AsiaPac and Japan, Owen Taraniuk.

He has held a number of senior leadership positions for multi-nationals across EMEA and APJ, including Kofax Inc., Open Text Corporation, Groupe Inova, ABS Group and Dun&Bradsheet Software. He was most recently the VP of AsiaPac and Japan for EMC Corporation, enterprise content division. As an entrepreneur, he is the founder of several successful ventures within IT and B2B. He has also held non-executive directorships within vertical industries such as Biotech, Consulting and Online Media.

Furthermore, Commvault’s VP of EMEA recently resigned to pursue another opportunity.

Ron Miiller, SVP WW of sales since  April 2011, has taken over the region while the company is in the process of recruiting and hiring a new VP of sales for EMEA. Prior to his current role, he served as Commvault’s VP of Americas sales from January 2005 to March 2011, and as Central region sales manager from March 2000 to December 2004. Prior to that, he served as director, Central region sales for Softworks, Inc., an EMC company, from March 1997 through March 2000, and prior to that he was with Moore Corporation, a diversified print and electronic communications company from 1989 through March 1997 in various leadership roles. he received his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Ball State University.
