Joe Lyons VP Business Development, Bitcasa

Bitcasa, Inc. announced Joe Lyons has joined the company as its VP of business development.

He will lead the company’s global partner and strategic alliance program to address the substantial growth and increased demand for Bitcasa’s Secure Storage Platform.

 Prior to joining Bitcasa, Lyons was senior manager of global storage business development at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, he built and led a worldwide business development team focused on customer needs, product development, and realizing new revenue growth. He also launched early hybrid enterprise cloud storage solutions in the financial and healthcare sectors during his career, and held senior leadership positions at technology companies, including Nirvanix, Brocade, GlassHouse Technologies and Exario.
