Coho Data, Inc., in scale-out flash storage for the enterprise, announced the appointment of Jim Ensell as the company’s CMO.

He brings more than 25 years of diverse experience in helping B2B technology companies drive growth and achieve market leadership.

He will lead global marketing, responsible for extending early success and establishing the company as the true scale-out storage market leader in the ‘new IT.’

Before Coho Data, Ensell was the CMO at Electric Cloud, where he established the company as a DevOps category leader and revamped the company’s demand generation engine that fueled record sales and double-digit annual revenue growth. Prior to that, he was chief marketing and strategy officer at CollabNet, where he helped grow the company’s annual revenue from $15 million to $50 million, while increasing the number of paying customers from 600 to more than 10,000 companies. He also served in various executive-level roles at rfXcel Corporation, Virage Logic, eSilicon Corporation and Cadence Design Systems during their high-growth periods.
