Jeff Russo SVP Products, SoftNAS

SoftNAS, Inc. announced veteran and product development leader, Jeff Russo, joins the company as SVP, products.

His responsibilities include leading overall product operations, agile development and R&D innovation for the SoftNAS products group ensuring timely, high-quality product releases and delivering a customer experience as SoftNAS continues to accelerate its growth and expansion.

SoftNAS continues to hire at all levels to support company growth,” said Rick Braddy, CEO and CTO. “Jeff will lead our product team as we expand our core cloud NAS storage business to become the fabric for business data in th cloud.”

During his 19 year career at Citrix Systems, Inc., Russo helped the company to grow from a $50 million to a $3 billion technology company and held executive management positions ranging from corporate VP of operations and chief of staff to multiple VP of product development roles. Most recently, he as VP of product development at Citrix where he led development services for all product groups. This included designing and leading a security development lifecycle across four product divisions and 30+ product teams, leading a centralized team providing international development, localization and language testing for the product, marketing and education teams and centralizing integration and customization of product development tools. He also led teams that built large-scale implementations that worked together as a solution and integrated new cloud and on-premises products. He previously held product development management roles with Precision Response and Encore Computer Corporation.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida.
