Frank Harbist CEO, Lavante

Was president and CEO of ProStor.

Lavante Inc., provider of cloud-based supplier management solutions for Fortune 1000 companies, announced that Frank Harbist has joined as new president and CEO.

In this role he will lead all company business activities reporting to the board of directors.

Lavante,Harbist,prostor Prior to Lavante, Frank was the CEO of ActiveScaler, Inc., an infrastructure software start-up focused on accelerating real-time enterprise applications. He was also president and CEO of ProStor Systems for three years, a VC-funded storage software start-up acquired in 2011. Before ProStor, he spent more than 20 years at HP in various organizations in enterprise software and infrastructure, including multiple VP and GM roles in software, storage and servers.

He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
