Ferrol Macon VP, Architecture and Product Strategy, VeriStorWorked at Cisco, Veritas, StorageNetworks and Datalink

VeriStor Systems, Inc. announced that Ferrol Macon has joined the company as VP, architecture and product strategy.
With more than 20 years of technology-industry experience, he will be overseeing VeriStor's solutions architecture and technical practice lead teams while also working to foster new technology partnerships, initiatives and cross-organizational strategies.

Macon is a customer-focused team builder with decades of experience in business development, technology strategy and project leadership. Most recently he served as sales business development manager, US service providers,Cisco. Prior to that, he served in storage and data center sales leadership positions with Softchoice, Presidio Networked Solutions, Mosaic Consulting Group, Solarcom, Veritas Software, StorageNetworks and Datalink Corporation, as well as a previous position with VeriStor for two years. He also served as a submarine officer for the U.S. Navy for over five years and graduated with a bachelor's degree in engineering from Tulane University.
