Doug Williams UK and Ireland Channel Director, Synerway

French software vendor Synerway SAS, in backup and DR appliances, has joined forces with Doug Williams to promote its appliances in the UK and Irish market.

Synerway has been active in the UK and Ireland for a number of years thanks to an existing partner network and numerous installations in the region.

To build on this base and to ensure the highest QoS, Synerway has selected Doug Williams as UK and Ireland channel director.

His main role will be to drive revenues, hire new partners and supervise the entire sales cycle by providing on-the-ground support.

Williams has a solid background in data protection and said: “Synerway has an excellent product which will continue to thrive in the UK and I’m delighted to be part of taking the business to a new level.“

He will work closely with Nick Chrisp, pre-sales engineer, and Christian Maillard, one of Synerway’s founders and current business development director who is convinced that Williams’ arrival is a genuine opportunity for Synerway: “Doug will bring his extensive local knowledge and a strong track record on turning leads into sales. We are convinced his arrival constitutes a real asset for our business prospects in the UK and Ireland.”
