David Raissipour SVP Engineering, Carbonite

And Ron Trackey VP product management

Carbonite, Inc. a provider of cloud and hybrid BC solutions for SMBs, announced two new additions to its executive team.

David Raissipour has joined the company as SVP of engineering, and Ron Trackey has joined as VP of product management.

David and Ron have excellent track records of success at premier technology companies, including Microsoft and RSA Security,” said Mohamad Ali, president and CEO, Carbonite. “They bring a wealth of experience in building and delivering high-quality products in the B2B and channel space, which are key areas of growth for Carbonite. RaissipourDavid Raissipour joined Carbonite from EMC’s RSA Security, where he served as VP and GM for identity, authentication and fraud products – a $500 million portfolio of products. Before joining RSA, he spent more than 14 years at Microsoft where he was an original/founding member of several product teams, including Outlook, Bing Mobile, MSN Mobile and the Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite. Early in his career he held a range of engineering and product management roles at start-ups throughout Massachusetts. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Central New England College, as well as numerous technology patents in the areas of messaging, rules processing and bandwidth optimization.

TrackeyRon Trackey served as VP of product development at Onapsis Inc., in SAP cybersecurity. Before that, he spent several years at RSA Security, where he led product and engineering management for RSA’s adaptive authentication SaaS product providing anti-fraud services. Prior to RSA, He spent 15 years at Microsoft, in various product leadership roles for MSN and Bing Mobile and MSN services. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo.
