Dave Mosley President and COO, Seagate

On June 27, 2016, Seagate Technology plc appointed William D. Mosley, 49, to the position of president and COO.
He has served as president, operations and technology, since October 2013 and as EVP, operations from March 2011 until October 2013. Prior to that, he served as EVP, sales and marketing, from September 2009 through March 2011; EVP, sales, marketing and product line management from February 2009 to September 2009; SVP, global disk storage operations, from 2007 to 2009; and VP, R&D, engineering, from 2002 to 2007. Prior to joining Seagate, he was a research physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and a senior engineer at Micropolis and Conner Peripherals.
No changes were made to Mosley’s compensation arrangements in connection with his expanded role within the company.
