Chris Cleary SVP of Global Sales, Vision Solutions

For Double-Take product suite

Vision Solutions, Inc., provider of HA, DR, and migration software and services, announced the appointment of Chris Cleary as SVP of Double-Take global sales.

This addition to the Vision Solutions global sales team represents the solution provider’s goal to deepen current partner relationships and manage continuous growth.

Chris’ energy, leadership, and channel experience make him an excellent addition to our team,” said Bob Johnson, Vision Solutions EVP sales and marketing. “I’m happy to have him on board to help us grow the ecosystem of our Double-Take business for Windows and Linux platforms.”

Cleary joins the company with more than 20 years of experience in high-growth technology sales, specifically in the information security and telecom industries. His specialties and expertise include managing global and multi-national structured sales, strategic alliances, and international supply chain management.

It’s important to take a step back, outside the traditional perspective of a software manufacturer, and see things from a distribution partner’s point of view. We must align our solutions with our partner’s portfolio and core expertise, provide the requisite tools, education, and field support to ensure we are enhancing our partner’s value proposition to their customers,” said Cleary.
 
In this role, Cleary will lead Vision Solutions’ field sales and channel sales teams and be responsible for growing Double-Take sales and strategic initiatives involving migrations and DRaaS.

While the marketplace is rapidly expanding with new service providers, Vision Solutions offers a set of products that are second to none,” said Cleary.

Previously, Cleary was senior director of global channels and distribution at Globalscape, in worldwide secure information exchange solutions. While at Globalscape and Egenera, Cleary led the launch of global channel programs and held senior leadership roles with Fortinet and AT&T.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from William Paterson University of New Jersey and an Organizational Leadership certificate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
