Carolyn Crandall CMO, Attivo

Crandall, AttivoAttivo Networks, Inc., in information security threat detection, announced that Carolyn Crandall has joined the company’s executive leadership team as CMO.

Crandall brings 25+ years of marketing and sales leadership experience and a track record for driving unprecedented revenue growth and company valuation for Cisco, Nimble Storage, Riverbed Technology, and other high-tech companies. She will be responsible for the development and execution of Attivo’s marketing strategy and growth initiatives with a primary focus on building awareness and demand for Attivo solutions which address organizations’ vulnerabilities related to the threat of robotic attacks and Advanced Persistent Threats on networks and data centers.

Carolyn brings extensive expertise on building and scaling marketing for hyper-growth companies. Her experience is ideally suited for establishing awareness and building demand for a new category of post-infection threat detection security solutions,” said Tushar Kothari, CEO. “By adding Carolyn to our leadership team, we are confident that we have the right marketing leadership to establish Attivo as an industry leader and to capitalize on the strong demand that we have seen from our base of Fortune 1000 customers.”

Prior to joining Attivo Networks, she served in executive marketing and sales roles at Maxta, Inc., Nimble Storage, Riverbed Technology, Seagate, and Juniper Networks as well as leadership positions with Cisco Systems and National Semiconductor.

She attended Santa Clara University, where she studied electrical engineering/computer science. Additionally, she has been recognized by CRN as a Woman of the Channel for five plus years, and a Top 100 Most Powerful Women of the Channel for multiple years.
