About this moves, Adrian J Herrera, VP marketing, wrote to StorageNewsletter.com in an email: “We did do a management roles realignment recently to increase coordination. This change was designed to further increase the speed of execution in order to better take advantage of the tremendous growth in the storage software space (that we pioneered)! Within the last 6 months we have increased staff by over 50%, expanded the size of our corporate office by over 100% and have increased our investment in marketing and sales by 200%. With this level of rapid growth in such an expedited timeframe we have re-aligned the roles internally for faster decision-making and execution.  Jonathan Ring has assumed the CEO role, Mark Goros is managing large strategic partnerships and continues to aid in the development of corporate strategy, and Paul Carpentier is continuing as a company advisor and board member.”
