Alex Yost President, Diablo Technologies

Diablo Technologies, Inc. announced the addition of Alex Yost as the company’s new president, reporting to CEO and co-founder Riccardo Badalone.

 He brings over 18 years of experience as a business line executive for servers and integrated systems. As president of Diablo, he will be responsible for managing the company’s product portfolio and marketing.

“Earlier this year, I saw the value of Diablo’s products when I had the chance to announce a system that delivers 99x faster analytics using Memory Channel Storage technology. I am thrilled to be joining a company that provides such compelling value to the customer,” he said. “I look forward to broadening the leadership skillset and delivering Diablo-based products to a wider market.”

“During his years in the IT industry, Alex has been at the epicenter of the tectonic changes impacting traditional data centers and IT infrastructures,” said Charles King, principal analyst at Pund-IT. “Alex’s leadership abilities and deep understanding of businesses’ critical computing needs will be invaluable to Diablo and its customers and partners.”

Yost has a background in executive management and product development that will keep Diablo’s Memory Channel Storage platform on the path towards global adoption. At IBM, he led the high-end x86 server business, building the product line to number one market share. In addition, Yost has been responsible for developing both foreign and domestic partnerships, having served as VP of strategy and alliances. Prior to IBM, he worked for Xerox Corporation where he held roles in sales and channel management.

He has an undergraduate degree in economics from Duke University and an MBA from the Duke Fuqua School of Business.
