Virtacore Part of Cloud Advisory Board

Virtacore Systems Inc., a cloud services provider specializing in virtual Infrastructure as a service solutions utilizing VMWare, announce that it’s a part of the Cloud Advisory Board organized by one of its key business partners, Zerto, Inc.

Zerto sets the standard for the protection, recovery and migration of data into cloud-based and virtualized data centers. The company formed an advisory board to support innovation in the areas of BC and DR. The board should benefit the entire ecosystem of enterprise users, cloud service providers and VARs.

Members of Zerto’s advisory board include companies from across a wide swath of the business world. They include chemicals, education, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, technology and telecommunications. The select group also includes vendors from Gartner’s 2015 DisasterRecovery as a Service Magic Quadrant – small organizations with less than 100 employees who were among the early adopters of DRaaS.

The partnership between Virtacore and Zerto dates back to October 2014, when Virtacore first joined Zerto’s cloud DR ecosystem to offer DR services powered by Zerto’s solution, Zerto Virtual Replication. This partnership has helped Virtacore provide cloud DR service to clients of all sizes, all in real time.

The partnership enabled Virtacore customers to choose from a range of options including DR as a service, on-premise application protection in the cloud, and In-Cloud DR, which replicates applications in a secondary cloud data center. This advisory board membership should strengthen the partnership between Virtacore and Zerto.
