Veritas Joining Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance

Veritas Technologies LLC, has joined the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance.

Veritas backup and recovery solutions NetBackup and Backup Exec provide protection for a range of Microsoft platforms and applications, including Windows, Hyper-V, SQL Server, Exchange, and SharePoint.

NetBackup
NetBackup is engineered to protect the largest and most demanding data center environments. With the latest release, NetBackup v7.7 offers up to 30 times faster backups to cloud storage than before while providing enhanced Hyper-V and SQL functionality. NetBackup delivers performance reducing backups for virtualized systems by up to 35 times and recovering terabytes of data in a matter of minutes. The NetBackup Converged Platform is a scalable solution for protecting the enterprise, incorporating technologies for data reduction and bandwidth efficiency, while providing extensive indexing and search capabilities. Backup Exec
Winner of the MSExchange.org 2015 Reader’s Choice award, Backup Exec 15 provides optimized and intelligent data protection for virtual, physical and cloud deployments. It indexes and catalogs backup data which saves organizations valuable time and disk space by eliminating the need to mount the backup disk, determine what is inside and search for specific data. Customers can find and recover data – at any level. It also provides rapid Exchange deduplication and VM backups helping to reduce the backup windows.
