VeriStor Partners With Pivot3

VeriStor Systems, Inc., an IT solutions provider specializing in virtual infrastructure and enterprise private, public and hybrid cloud services and solutions, announced that it has partnered with Pivot3, Inc., a pioneer and innovator in the development of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions.

Together, the two companies will offer hyper-converged data center solutions for VDI, BC/DR applications and general IT workloads.

By offering all-flash appliances that feature Pivot3’s patented vSTAC OS utilizing Scalar Erasure Coding global hyper-converged architecture, VeriStor is powering VDI and BC/DR infrastructures with solutions that provide more performance per appliance and greater savings for customers.

The vSTAC software delivers up to 90% usable capacity and protects more drive failures than scale-out approaches offering simple replication. All of the resources in the array are shared across all of the appliances and VMs. As a result, Pivot3 appliances support more than two times the workload hosting of other solutions which results in lower TCO for businesses across user categories.
