Veeam Extending Partnership With ConnectWise in Australia and New Zealand

Veeam Software, Inc. extended partnership with ConnectWise, Inc., developer of a remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform, LabTech.

Veeam and ConnectWise began their partnership with the Veeam Backup & Replication Plug-in for LabTech, which gives MSPs a centralized view of Veeam activities inside virtual environments via the LabTech Control Center. In 2015, Veeam and ConnectWise introduced Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech to the North American market, enabling MSPs to offer a solution with high-speed, low-cost remote backup, recovery and management of Windows-based endpoints through LabTech.

This agreement between Veeam and ConnectWise extends the availability of Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech to Australia and New Zealand as well. Now local ANZ service providers can leverage Veeam’s availability solutions with backup and recovery of vSphere and Hyper-V VMs, Windows-based endpoints – and even some physical Windows-based servers – to deliver RTPO of less than 15 minutes for all applications and data.

“Mobile working is a major component of the Always-On Enterprise and we carry a huge amount of data in our laptops so the cost to business of losing one can be significant, yet endpoint protection is often overlooked,” said Peter Bender, head of channel and alliances, ANZ, Veeam. “Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech was created to directly address this problem and gives MSPs the ability to offer a complete solution with high-speed, low-cost remote management and recovery of endpoints.“

It is extremely efficient for monitoring and managing remote customer sites and allows MSPs to be as proactive and efficient as possible in improving availability for their customers. There’s been great demand for the solution in the ANZ market, following its launch in North America last year,” added Bender.

Endpoint Backup for LabTech is designed for new and existing users of LabTech that want an endpoint availability solution. A service provider can use Veeam products simultaneously to offer a solution based on Veeam that covers virtual servers (with Veeam Availability Suite and Veeam Backup & Replication, and Veeam Backup & Replication Plug-in for LabTech) and Windows-based desktops, laptops and some physical servers (with Endpoint Backup for LabTech).
