Tintri Distributed by Promark (Ingram Micro)

Tintri Inc., a producer of VM-aware storage (VAS) for virtualization and cloud environments, has entered into a distribution agreement with Promark Technology, Inc., an Ingram Micro, Inc. company.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tintri VAS solutions will be available to Promark’s portfolio of authorized resellers and system integrators across North America.

Tintri all-flash storage stands out for its ability to help customers guarantee the performance of virtualized applications. Its VM-aware storage file system isolates every VM in its own lane, so – unlike LUN and volume-based storage – there is no conflict over resources. And, Tintri allows every storage action (replication, cloning, analytics and more) at the VM-level for more visibility and control.

This announcement comes on the heels of recent Tintri changes to its Partner Program. This includes expanded training and enablement programs, market development funds, channel incentives, and software suite pricing to help partners expand their Tintri business.
