Start-Up DataGravity Recruiting Channel Partners

For its early-access channel program

DataGravity, Inc. is recruiting a select group of channel partners for its early-access channel program.

The program, unveiled during the VMware Partner Exchange event, will give partners with expertise in storage, server and virtualization technology an early view into the DataGravity solution.

As a customer-centric, all-channel company, DataGravity is committed to integrating feedback in order to deliver solutions that answer the needs of partners and their customers.

As businesses store more unstructured and structured data, they are challenged in extracting insight without funding all-in data centers or hiring IT specialists to build complex models and analyze data sets. These organizations need a solution from which IT professionals and business users can more easily begin deriving benefits. The platform will address this need. Channel partners in the early-access program will gain the benefits of engagement so they can move for their customers when DataGravity launches its solution this year.

The demand for insights from unstructured data is growing; that’s why we’ve tailored our solutions to assist businesses in managing all aspects of big data and analytics,” said Russell Ford, president and COO , Qumulus Solutions, LLC, a data management consulting firm that assists businesses with designing and implementing enterprise solutions for cloud storage, virtualization and infrastructure as-a service. “As a DataGravity early-access partner, we can offer a powerful new storage option and never-before-seen functionality to bring new value to customers and give them the business benefits that come from data-fueled information.

Joseph Paquet, VP of vendor alliance and relations, Axis Business Solutions, Inc., an IT professional services company focused on cloud strategies, virtualization, BC and security, and a DataGravity early-access partner, said: “A central part of our mission is to help customers simplify IT and get more business value from their data. DataGravity will supply us with a product that drives seamless interaction with data and the insights it provides. We are confident that DataGravity will give our customers and prospects a new experience for storing and mining data.

David Siles, VP of WW field operations, DataGravity, said: “There is tremendous demand for new, simple and cost-effective technology in both small and mid-sized companies, and the channel model is evolving into a more diversified revenue stream for both partners and tech companies. DataGravity has created an opportunity for partners and customers to influence the development of a sustainable channel program and business that will level the playing field of unstructured data analysis, giving end users and IT teams the ability to reach actionable answers to difficult business questions.”
