SolidFire Certificed With Mirantis

To power most demanding OpenStack cloud deployments

SolidFire, Inc., an all-flash block storage provider for OpenStack, announced its certification with Mirantis OpenStack, the OpenStack distribution that is easy to install and operate at scale.

SolidFire achieved this certification through the Mirantis Unlocked partner program and intends to further integrate the two technologies by completing its plug-in for Fuel, the open source OpenStack deployment and management tool.

Mirantis is leading the way with its continued commitment to the OpenStack community and dedication to providing outstanding solutions that enable customers to move to the next generation data center. Our integration and certification with Mirantis OpenStack ensures that a customer’s transition to the next generation datacenter is seamless and simple,” said SolidFire’s VP of corporate development and strategy Dave Cahill.

SolidFire’s certification and integration with Mirantis OpenStack and Mirantis Fuel provides customers with a simplified way to manage and deploy highly available OpenStack clouds with mixed-workload capabilities and performance. Through Fuel, SolidFire can be deployed as Cinder block storage for Mirantis OpenStack deployments. Whether customers are looking to guarantee performance to every application in their stack, decrease deployment time or accelerate time to market, the Mirantis/SolidFire combination delivers results no other storage can match.

The enterprise is looking to OpenStack leaders like Mirantis and SolidFire as they build web-scale OpenStack clouds. SolidFire’s deep roots as an early pioneer of OpenStack storage, coupled with Mirantis’ hardened OpenStack distribution, make it easier than ever to deploy and innovate with OpenStack,” said Boris Renski, Mirantis CMO and co-founder.

The combination of Mirantis OpenStack and SolidFire’s all-flash architecture deliver all of the building blocks that enable customers to deploy cloud infrastructure that can accommodate the demands of a dynamic and expanding user base.
