Skyera Achieves VMware Ready Status

For all-flash system skyHawk

Skyera, Inc., announced that its skyHawk all-flash solid-state storage system has achieved VMware Ready status.

This designation indicates that skyHawk has undergone detailed test procedures and is supported on vSphere 5.5 and 5.5 U1 for production environments.

By using skyHawk with vSphere 5.5 and 5.5 U1 enterprises can achieve much higher virtual-machine density than traditional storage for both server virtualization and VDI infrastructure,” said Radoslav Danilak, co-founder and CEO, Skyera. “With our capacity leading flash hardware and software, Skyera delivers a simple and extremely scalable solution for VMware environments that offers enterprise performance and reliability for the cost of disk.

We are pleased that Skyera’s skyHawk qualifies for the VMware Ready logo, signifying to customers that it works effectively with vSphere, and can be deployed in production with confidence,” said Sanjay Katyal, VP, global alliances and OEMs, VMware.

The VMware Ready program is a co-branding benefit of the Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program for customers to identify partner products certified to work with VMware cloud infrastructure. They can use these products and solutions to lower project risks and realize cost savings over custom built solutions. With thousands of members worldwide, the VMware TAP program includes technology partners with the shared commitment to bring the expertise and business solution for each unique customer need.
