Rubrik Establishes Distribution, Reseller and Support Networks in EMEA

Rubrik, Inc., a converged data management company, announced its expansion into EMEA.

The company has experienced customer growth in North America, and launched its operations in response to customer and partner demands in EMEA.

Rubrik’s converged data management software powers the company’s r300/r500 Series appliances, which deliver automated backup, instant recovery, unlimited replication, and data archival at infinite scale.

“Rubrik is the game changing innovation for data protection in the last two decades, and the company’s steep growth in North America has proven that,” said Bipul Sinha, Rubrik co-founder and CEO. “We’re excited to bring our solution to EMEA with our growing team and our strategic distributors and reseller partners.“

The company also announced the appointment of IT industry veteran Karl Driesen, as head of EMEA sales. As the former VP, EMEA at Palo Alto Networks, Inc., he built a team of over 200 employees and a $200 million business in five years. Most recently, he was a VP with Elastica.

In the last two quarters, Rubrik has:

• Hired customer account teams in the UK, Belgium, France and the Netherlands;
• Signed major European and Middle Eastern distributors such as Big Technology, Commtech Solutions Ltd, and Evanssion FZCO including their partner networks;
• Certified partner field engineers in the Rubrik Master Program; and
• Sold production deployments in EMEA to end user customers in the business services, finance and government verticals.
