Pure Storage Joined SevOne Ready Alliance Program

To simplify and assure OpenStack deployments in software-defined data centers

SevOne, Inc., a provider of digital infrastructure management solutions, announced that Pure Storage, Inc. has joined SevOne READY, a technology and go-to-market alliance program that allows technology providers to leverage their solutions and the open interfaces of the SevOne Digital Infrastructure Platform.

Pure Storage is collaborating with SevOne to simplify and assure OpenStack deployments and shorten integration time, allowing for automated software-defined data centers with rapid change and reduced risk.

Businesses differentiate with software, where performance and availability are competitive edges and foundational to success. This requires a digital infrastructure that is increasingly software-defined, complex, and difficult to scale, support, and maintain. In order to scale to support these infrastructures in OpenStack environments, storage and management systems must work together to be able to deploy and assure their software-defined infrastructure for operational insight.

OpenStack deployments are often limited by storage complexity and low performance. Scaling out to the hundreds of disk-based nodes required by large OpenStack implementations is difficult, inefficient, time-consuming and costly. The all-flash storage from Pure Storage increases storage efficiency, simplifies OpenStack deployments, and shortens integration times to improve the ROI of cloud service deployments. SevOne’s speed-at-scale, and ability to integrate with OpenStack and Pure Storage’s API makes it the complement to maximize the performance of OpenStack-based infrastructure while minimizing risk.

As enterprises increasingly adopt OpenStack, we see incredible value in technology that helps customers monitor, track and improve their deployments,” said Matt Kixmoeller, VP of product, Pure Storage. “Our inclusion in the SevOne READY program will allow Pure Storage and SevOne customers to maximize the performance and scalability of their OpenStack-enabled software-defined datacenters to meet the most demanding business and IT requirements.

In today’s rapidly changing software-defined datacenter, it’s imperative for leading vendors to work together for joint customer success,” said Jack Sweeney, CEO, SevOne. “We are delighted to work with Pure Storage as part of the SevOne READY program to help our customers achieve the agility and cost savings of software-defined data centers with confidence.
