ProphetStor Enrolls in Red Hat OpenStack Cloud Infrastructure Partner Network

To provide SDS solutions for enterprise Linux OpenStack platform

ProphetStor Data Services, Inc., in software-defined storage (SDS), has joined the Red Hat OpenStack Cloud Infrastructure partner network to provide integrated ProphetStor Federator SDS solutions for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform.

We’re pleased to have ProphetStor join us in the Red Hat OpenStack cloud Infrastructure Partner Network,” said Mike Werner, senior director, global technology ecosystems, Red Hat. “To help customers get the most out of Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform and our open hybrid cloud solutions, we work closely with technology companies like ProphetStor that provide powerful and complementary solutions. We look forward to continued collaboration with ProphetStor as a key member of Red Hat’s OpenStack technology partner ecosystem.

Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform is a scalable IaaS product that delivers an open, flexible and enterprise-ready private cloud foundation, built on OpenStack and optimized for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Federator SDS solutions integrate with OpenStack components to provide automatic discovery and abstraction of physical storage resources into virtual pools classified by capabilities and performance, along with centralized management, automated storage provisioning, and dynamic monitoring and scheduling of resources to meet storage demands.

ProphetStor is pleased to work with Red Hat to optimize and validate our solutions as interoperable,” said Eric Chen, ProphetStor CEO. “Building partnerships with industry leaders such as Red Hat is crucial. We look forward to working closely in collaboration with Red Hat.

The Red Hat OpenStack Cloud Infrastructure Partner Network connects business and technical resources to third-party technology companies who are aligning with Red Hat’s OpenStack-based product offerings. Since the launch of the program in April 2013, more than 1000 software, plug-ins, and hardware systems have been certified and are supported as commercially available solutions. The partners building these solutions work with Red Hat to offer customers an enterprise-ready and commercial-grade OpenStack infrastructure, with complementary technologies integrated across compute, networking and storage. The Red Hat OpenStack Cloud Infrastructure Partner Network includes industry partners from around the world, including independent hardware vendors, OEMs, ISVs, system integrators, MSPs, and communication service providers who have joined the program to provide certified solutions and launch their own practices to support customer deployments.

Solutions that have achieved Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Certification, or which are certified for other products in Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud portfolio, are available in the Red Hat Certified Solution Marketplace.
