NEC to Offer Cloudera Enterprise

NEC Corporation and Cloudera, Inc., in enterprise analytic data management powered by Apache Hadoop, are joining forces to help organizations leverage big data for massive large-scale distributed computing and to gain greater value from their data assets more quickly using Cloudera’s unified Platform for big data: Cloudera Enterprise, the foundation for its enterprise data hub offering.

Cloudera Enterprise is an Hadoop-based platform, with Cloudera being a prolific contributor to the open source Hadoop ecosystem. It is a secure, managed, governed and open data management platform offering a powerful system for storing, accessing and analyzing any amount and kind of data in one centralized repository.

Cloudera and NEC plan to collaborate on bringing Cloudera Enterprise to customers wolrdwide, leveraging NEC servers, storage and networking products. NEC plans to offer solutions to customers, incorporating professional services and global support services. NEC plans on working closely with Cloudera in offering these solutions, to ensure customers have access to the best expertise and capabilities in the market.
