NEC and Empress Media Asset Management Join Forces

To deliver storage solution for archive media assets

NEC Corporation of America and Empress Media Asset Management, LLC, in media integration systems and workflow efficiency, announced a new joint solution that provides media and entertainment companies with end-to-end functionality.

The joint solution draws on the resources of the two companies: Empress is known for its complete media asset management platform and NEC for its dense storage solutions. The solution, combining Empress’s eMAM Vault for an online proxy library with rich collaboration and media management tools with NEC HYDRAstor for secure and scalable storage for a complete system with data ingest, media lifecycle management, multiplatform delivery, and archive.
