MindTree Limited has announced the availability of its SecureMind Surveillance Manager.

The integrated offering provides users with IP network-based video surveillance and storage solutions.

The SecureMind Surveillance Manager enables users to connect and configure USB and fixed/PTZ IP cameras from multiple vendors to the Iomega StorCenter, and monitor video remotely from anywhere in the world through a Web interface running on a PC or an Android-based tablet. Through integration with the Iomega StorCenter devices, the SecureMind Surveillance manager simplifies installation by reducing servers needed for video storage/analytics and reduces the overall infrastructure management overhead, making it for SMB, distributed enterprises  and remote offices.

"The transition from analogue to IP holds great promise for the surveillance market, yet it can also create a number of challenges for SMBs where there are often limited resources to invest," said Vinod Deshmukh, President, Technology & Products, Product Engineering Services, MindTree Limited. "By leveraging our expertise in ready-to-brand video surveillance solutions with Iomega's innovative network storage products, the SecureMind Surveillance Manager solution brings enterprise-class surveillance capabilities to this segment for video capture, storage and monitoring in an easy-to-use and cost-effective platform that can be tailored to specific customer requirements."

The ONVIF 2.0 ready SecureMind Surveillance Manager enables users to search recorded videos based on multiple parameters and playback videos of interest in a timeline view. Using advanced video analytics, the solution also offers an 'Alert-Me' feature, which provides instant e-mail notification of user-specified events such as motion detection or video loss. SecureMind Surveillance Manager supports megapixel camera recording and activity-based recording, and is available for camera counts ranging from 4 to 32.
