Galileo Performance Explorer Adds IBM FlashSystems and Brocade SAN Agents

To infrastructure performance management suite

Galileo Performance Explorer, a cloud-based integrated infrastructure performance management (IPM) suite for servers, storage, SAN and applications, developed by the ATS Group, has added agents for IBM FlashSystems and Brocade SAN Fabrics Technology, as well as new views within its Enterprise Dashboard.

Galileo is an IPM solution with insights to IBM FlashSystems. This new agent offers metrics for flash modules, FC interfaces, FC ports, and FC port errors. The agent for the Brocade SAN Fabric offers metrics for directors, switches, FC ports, ISL’s, ISL trunks, as well as FC port errors.

Both agents collect and report on performance, capacity, and configuration. Additionally, at-a-glance Alerting and Enterprise dashboards allow customization of intelligence parameters, critical alerts, views of disk usage, and trend reporting of capacity. Users can improve decision-making with monitoring and granular performance data that reduces the chance for systemic issues that can result in costly downtime.

Galileo’s Enterprise Dashboards offer simple views and detailed drill-downs for underutilized storage capacity, showing a view of all volumes and how much capacity, in groups, might be reclaimable capacity.

Within the Galileo Suite, we are trying to make it easy to proactively monitor infrastructure such as IBM FlashSystems and Brocade SAN Fabric from an integrated management console,” says Tim Conley, principal and co-founder, Galileo and the ATS Group. Our product roadmap will include new agents and feature enhancements for IBM i, EMC, Cisco SAN, Hitachi, Oracle, and other IT infrastructure.

All Galileo capabilities are accessible for evaluation via a free 30-day trial program or by requesting a personal demonstration.
