eSTORAGE Distributing Ahsay

Ahsay Backup Software Development Company Ltd (Ahsay), a Hong Kong-based backup software provider, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Ahsay Systems Corporation Limited (Ahsay HK) and eSTORAGE Technology Corp. (eSTORAGE), a company incorporated in Taiwan, ROC, have entered into a distribution agreement.

eSTORAGE is engaged in the provision of backup services targeted at SMBs in Taiwan. Through the cooperation, Ahsay can more effectively provide its backup software products to SMBs in Taiwan.

Under the agreement, Ahsay HK has granted eSTORAGE a non-exclusive license for two years to distribute, sell and deliver certain backup software products under the trademarks and trade names of Ahsay HK as its distributor in Taiwan. The cost of all returns from customers and all after-sales support services related to the products is to be borne by eSTORAGE unless otherwise specified.

According to Frost & Sullivan, Inc., the backup solutions market has witnessed healthy and stable development momentum in recent years. Along with the prominent expansion of cloud-based online backup services, the backup market is expected to enjoy a growth in the following years with a CAGR of 11.4% from 2014 to 2019. Moreover, AsiaPac is estimated to be the most promising region whose five-year revenue growth may reach 13.3% because of the influences on technical progress and market consciousness.

The Small and Medium Enterprise Administration under the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan announced information related to SMBs in Taiwan in June 2015. According to the data released by the Fiscal Information Agency, Ministry of Finance, there were 1,353,049 SMBs in operation in Taiwan, accounting for 97.61% of total number of enterprises in the region, demonstrating the potential customer base in the Taiwan market.

We believe Version 7 of Ahsay Backup Software meets the latest needs of companies, in particular SMEs and backup services providers, and notably reducing the burden of the I.T. department, thus we have complete confidence in the prospects of this product.“
