Druva Licenses Axcient Application Awareness Technology

Axcient, Inc., in cloud-based Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) announced that Druva, Inc. has licensed its application-aware granular recovery technology for Microsoft Outlook.

Axcient Granular Recovery technology will be leveraged by Druva’s inSync endpoint and cloud data protection solution, assisting in improving the understanding of Microsoft Outlook .PST files during the legal review process.

In an age when businesses are expected to be ‘always-on,’ any prolonged service downtime is detrimental to productivity within a company. Axcient’s technology allows organizations to read and write granular objects including messages, contacts and calendar items both to and from PST files in both Windows and Linux environments without the aid of MAPI, a key and feature to Axcient.
