Diablo Technologies, Inc, announced that its Memory Channel Storage (MCS) architecture has been integrated into the latest edition of Lenovo’s X6 server solutions.

Lenovo leverages Diablo’s MCS technology to power its eXFlash Memory-Channel Storage products. The X6 rack and blade servers support up to 32 eXFlash DIMMs per system, enabling 12.8TB of performance system storage.

We are extremely proud to be working with Lenovo on such a wide range of server platforms,” said Riccardo Badalone, CEO and co-founder, Diablo. “Lenovo’s X6 systems were the first to support MCS and with this new announce, we look forward to delivering great solutions to even more clients with Lenovo and their business partners.

The X6 server portfolio includes the four-socket System x3850 X6 and eight-socket System x3950 X6 rack-mount servers and the Flex System x280, x480, and x880 X6 Compute Node portfolio of two-socket, four-socket and eight-socket blade servers. Lenovo X6 systems with eXFlash technology deliver industry performance and value. eXFlash DIMMs integrate with the X6 platform to deliver a storage solution – accelerating a range of enterprise workloads including database, analytics and virtualization.
