Commtech Distributing PernixData FVP Software

PernixData, Inc. has appointed Commtech Solutions Ltd to distribute the company’s FVP software in the UK and Ireland.

As part of the new relationship, they will co-invest in technical support staff, sales and market development activities to facilitate the adoption of storage acceleration software in these markets.

PernixData FVP software, a platform for VM-aware storage acceleration, virtualizes high speed server resources like flash into a clustered acceleration tier that enables IT administrators to scale-out storage performance independent of storage capacity. The result is read and write performance for all VMs, without the need to change existing server and storage infrastructure. By creating a new software based infrastructure for server side storage intelligence, PernixData changes how storage is designed and operated in virtual data centers.
