Box Joins Microsoft Cloud Storage Program

Box, Inc. announced two integrations with Microsoft Office that enable businesses to access content from any device or platform, making it easy for them to collaborate more effectively in the cloud.

Box joins Citrix Systems, Inc. and Salesforce.com, Inc. as inaugural members in Microsoft’s Cloud Storage Partner Program, and Box will support native integrations for both Office for iPad and iPhone as well as for Office Online.

Box supports Microsoft’s commitment to providing people with more ways to collaborate and manage content in Office. These new integrations enable users to open, edit and save documents back to Box from directly within Office for iOS, and establish a connection between Box and Office Online.

Additionally, these integrations work in conjunction to Box’s existing Office 365 integration for the desktop, and Outlook for iPhone and iPad; both of which were built through Office 365’s open platform for all developers.

Box is available as an integration with Office for iOS at no fee. Box will be available as an integration with Office Online later this year.
