Atto ExpressSAS HBA Certified by Dot Hill

ATTO Technology, Inc. announced that its 12Gb ExpressSAS HBAs have been certified for use with Dot Hill Systems Corp.‘s AssuredSAN 4000 Series RAID Storage Arrays.

The tested and supported 12Gb SAS option is for enterprise users in performance markets looking for storage, data protection, and virtualized solutions.

Representing the latest advances in SAS technology, the 12Gb SAS/SATA HBA provides users with fast and reliable storage connectivity while enabling scalability for next generation platforms and infrastructures. Optimized for low latency and high-bandwidth data transfers, ATTO’s variety of port configurations, including the 16 internal port solution and RAID levels offer flexibility and reliability for demanding applications.

In addition, ExpressSAS HBAs feature ATTO’s Advanced Data Streaming (ADS) technology. ADS latency management technology, which is built into every HBA and RAID controller, provides fast, consistent time – to – data, delivering high aggregate bandwidth and predictable data transfers for high performance applications.

AssuredSAN 4000 Series SAN storage arrays offer up to 6,400MB/s sequential reads and 5,300MB/s sequential writes, as well as patented EcoStor battery-less cache backup which eliminates the need for battery maintenance, boosting availability. Designed with a powerful processor, these SAN storage systems solve many of  challenging storage problems, helping data intensive infrastructure to improve performance, increase availability, simplify operations and reduce costs.
