Seven Storage Companies Visited by 15th IT Press Tour in June

Catalogic Software, DDN, Hedvig, Micron, NexGen Storage, Pure Storage and Rozo Systems

The IT Press Tour, a media event launched in June 2010, announced participating companies for the 15th edition scheduled the week of 22nd of June in San Francisco, CA and Silicon Valley.

It is operated, organized, promoted and initiated by the Condor Consulting Group, a marketing services and consulting firm based in San Francisco, CA.

Eleven innovative companies will be visited by a group of 15 European journalists and reporters): Big Switch Networks, Catalogic Software, CoreOS, DDN Storage, Hedvig, Jut, Micron, NexGen Storage, Nuage Networks, Pure Storage and Rozo Systems (Fizians SAS).

“The 15th IT Press Tour edition raises again the bar with a fantastic list of new companies and established ones. Having such recognition for the Tour and the value it provides, represents a great achievement,” said Celine Coustaut, owner, IT Press Tour. “With these 11 participating companies we continue to invite new players, even very recent ones, and also some who have already participated in the past such NexGen Storage and Pure Storage. This illustrates perfectly the partnership established for several years. Now, we hit a new record with 114 companies and 167 sessions since we started the project.”

On the heels of a record fourth quarter 2014 and 16% year-over-year growth and profitability, EMEA and APJ remain key markets for DDN Storage as we continue to expand into the Enterprise to meet the demands of customers worldwide for high performance, scale-out storage and cloud technologies. We are pleased to participate in the upcoming IT press tour which will provide a means for further expanding our global visibility and awareness through meetings with important press and analyst influencers across the region,” commented Molly Rector, CMO, DDN.

I have engaged the IT Press Tour on multiple occasions to introduce innovative start-ups to the leading European journalists and bloggers covering technology. The combination of high quality publications, a motivated audience, and an efficient format that allows broad geographic reach in a concentrated, interactive format is the best forum and return on effort PR program I have found to date,” added Gregg Holzrichter, VP marketing, CMO, Big Switch Networks.

Each edition is also the moment to add new reporters to the group and again several new ones will join the IT Press Tour group in June.

With extensive demand for new topics and other vendors knocking on our door, we’re delighted to announce some extension to the IT Press Tour with a session dedicated to Business and IT Applications in October 2015. Next year, in 2016, we’ll organize 4 editions: 2 dedicate to IT infrastructure and 2 dedicated to business and IT applications, so be prepared for a new dimension,” concluded Coustaut.
