Cleversafe Corporate Sponsor of OpenStack Foundation

Cleversafe, Inc. announced its corporate sponsorship of the OpenStack Foundation, a community promoting development, distribution and adoption of the OpenStack cloud OS.

Cleversafe’s involvement in the OpenStack Foundation will enable the company to help drive standards guiding the direction of object-based storage within OpenStack and further integrate its technology with Swift, Keystone and other OpenStack projects.

Cleversafe’s web-scale storage software platform provides a Swift compatible API for customer applications enabling its use as an object storage platform in the OpenStack environment. Organizations using Cleversafe’s technology can also use the Keystone identity management service for user authentication. As a corporate sponsor of the OpenStack Foundation, Cleversafe will enhance its support by participating in technical committees working to improve Swift protocol and make the interface more usable for customers and applications. In addition, Cleversafe will contribute Java and Python reference implementations to the Swift code base.
