Las Vegas, NV Imerjn Acquires File Sharing Service Amonshare.com

Expanding cloud storage user base by 30,000

Imerjn (XUII), formerly known as Xumanii International Holdings Corp., an early stage company that develops and sells mobile software and hardware solutions, has acquired Amonshare.com, a file sharing service that has approximately 30,000 registered users.

The website and its customers will be merged with the Imerjn cloud that was launched on January 16, 2014.

Amonshare.com is almost 5 years old, receives approximately 1,200,000 impressions per month, has an Alexa Rank of approximately 35,000 and operates in 14 languages.

Imerjn CEO, Adam Radly, said: “The Imerjn cloud service is one of our more important services and we very happy about expanding our user base by 30,000 after acquiring Amonshare.”

Cloud storage is popular but not yet ubiquitous – roughly 55% of connected Americans have never used a cloud-storage service (according to research conducted by Strategy Analytics).

On the one hand, everyone knows what cloud storage is and they know that they need it, but, on the other hand, approximately half of the country has never used it. This means that there is a definite opportunity and our timing is good,” said Radly.

The research also found that “usage of cloud storage is heavily skewed towards younger people, in particular 20-24 year olds.” Approximately 90% of the connected Americans used their cloud-storage service to upload music files.

The cloud’s role in the race to win over consumers’ digital media libraries has evolved from a value added service for digital content purchases to a feature-rich and increasingly device agnostic digital locker for music and movies,” Ed Barton, Strategy Analytics’ director of digital media, wrote in a statement.

Radly added: “We are working on adding some new features that will differentiate our cloud service from our competitors. We will provide more information about these features very soon.”
