German EgoSecure Acquires Full Disk Encryption Brand FinallySecure From Secude

German endpoint security specialist EgoSecure GmbH acquired the full disk encryption brand, FinallySecure, from SECUDE AG, a Swiss software manufacturer.

This bold move establishes EgoSecure as a one-stop shopping offering, which includes all key components of the solution portfolio, allowing flexibility and response to new user requirements. For SECUDE, the spinoff is a logical step in focusing on the strategy to develop innovative security solutions for SAP environments.

“The decision to focus on the SAP security business with our new Halocore technology is the key business objective,” explains Dr. Heiner Kromer, CEO, SECUDE. “Keeping the best interest of our FinallySecure customer base in mind, divesting FinallySecure was not an easy decision. It was very important for us to find a partner who is able to meet the extremely high expectations of our customers when it comes to quality, innovative power, and added value through the endpoint security focus, which EgoSecure offers.”

“By acquiring the full disk encryption solution by SECUDE, we can now offer one of the products in this segment with an excellent customer base. Terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
