Concergent IT Acquired by Underground Vaults and Storage, Inc. (UV&S)

In particular distributor of Dell storage

Underground Vaults and Storage, Inc. (UV&S), a privately-held records and information management company based in Hutchinson, KS, announces it has acquired Concergent IT.

Concergent IT is a full-service information technology company located in Wichita, Kansas, providing a wide-range of products and services including digital storage capabilities in their state-of-the-art data center.

The company will become a division of UV&S, but will continue to do business as Concergent IT.

Among their many recognitions, Concergent IT was recently awarded Dell’s Mid-Market Partner of the year for 2015 from a field of 40,000 eligible Dell partners. This award recognizes Concergent IT’s demonstrated commitment to both clients and Dell and is based on a combination of sales growth, marketing and lead generation activities, technical training and promoting Dell products.

We’re very pleased to acquire Concergent IT and blend their expertise and capabilities to our already varied services,” said Lee Spence, president and CEO, UV&S.  “With more clients storing their information electronically, this acquisition allows us to provide the next generation of storage options to our clients. Additionally, having the ability to provide hardware and software solutions as well as other managed services, we can assist clients through all aspects of their technology needs.”

Dan Reisig will remain as president of Concergent IT, as will all 11 employees in their current roles.

The team at Concergent IT is excited about this change,” said Reisig. “Our goal has always been to provide exceptional service and support to clients, and bring the latest technology to the marketplace to assist businesses with their data management. Our data center is recognized as one of the premier locations in the region and our reach expands dramatically as part of UV&S.”

UV&S was established in 1959, and operates three underground and six above-ground secure storage and destruction facilities across four states. Serving thousands of clients from all over the world, it is best known for storing millions of items, including movie film, data tapes and paper records for clients within a 650-foot deep salt mine in Kansas.
