Avago: Fiscal 2Q15 Financial Results
Enterprise storage revenue at $477 million
By Jean Jacques Maleval | June 1, 2015 at 2:17 pmAvago Technologies Limited, a semiconductor device supplier to the wireless, enterprise storage, wired and industrial end markets, reported financial results for the second quarter of its fiscal year 2015, ended May 3, 2015.
“We delivered solid second quarter revenue while exceeding gross margin and EPS expectations for the quarter,” said Hock Tan, president and CEO. “We expect to resume revenue growth in the third quarter driven by strength in our wireless and enterprise storage segments“.
Enterprise storage represented 29% of global revenue ($1,645 million down 1% Q/Q and up 135% Y/Y) or $477 million for the quarter. It comprises FC and Ethernet connectivity products, HDD read channel/preamps and custom flash controllers/.
Main customers are Cisco, Dell, IBM, Oracle, Seagate, Toshiba and WD.
