UK-Based We Are Cloud Using Tintri VMstore

Tintri, Inc., a producer of VM-aware storage (VAS) for virtualisation and cloud environments, announced that We Are Cloud Ltd (WAC) is using Tintri’s VMstore to simplify management of its virtualised workloads.

Since deployment, WAC has eliminated the need to hire or retrain specialised storage admins and has clearer visibility into its servers, network and storage.

Founded in 2015, WAC is one of the fastest growing cloud service providers (CSP) in the UK, delivering a range of hosted services for its customers-including MS Exchange, Citrix XenApp-based virtual desktops, servers and online backup. WAC needed a storage platform that could both support a breadth of customer needs and reduce management effort.

After looking at a variety of different storage options, Tintri was recommended by Solid State Solutions or S3, a value added integrator of data storage, compute and storage management systems and a trading name of Capita IT Services Ltd.

WAC purchased a VMstore to support its customer workload after realising how simple it was to procure and manage compared to conventional storage options.

WAC has far better visibility into its IT environment. The VMstore has allowed for the diagnosis of performance bottlenecks, and WAC has the ability to clone and build new servers in less than two minutes.
